What advice would you give to someone thinking about developing a career in fitness?
Get as many different qualifications as you can to put you ahead of the game. As a Personal Trainer, don't ignore group exercise qualifications as these are an excellent way to gain clients. Find your 'niche' as quickly as you can and start to specialise in that area, but remain diverse by having other qualifications to enhance your client base. You may also find down the line that Personal Training isn't for you and, by having those additional qualifications, are free to move around within the industry. It's a huge industry to be in and an exciting one. Most of all....enjoy it!
