The Porchester Centre is a state-of-the-art leisure and fitness complex located in Bayswater in the heart of London.
The facility has recently undergone a massive £1.2million refurbishment and contains an enormous array of facilities to meet the needs of visitors, making it an excellent place for Discovery to train their students in the skills needed to earn a living in a modern fitness setting.
Their vast gymnasium is equipped with over one-hundred-and-forty stations for cardiovascular training and strength-building resistance exercises.
As interesting detail about the Porchester Centre is that their spa is the oldest in all of London, having first opened in 1929. It has two steam rooms, three hot rooms, a sauna and four treatment rooms.
The centre has two swimming pools: a thirty meter main pool for those doing lane swimming or competitive training, and a twenty-five meter smaller pool for families and swimming lessons.
There are also three large exercise studios to host group exercise classes such as aerobics or spinning.
All of these facilities will ensure that the Porchester Centre is a vibrant and stimulating place for our students to learn how to function as a personal trainer, gym instructor, aerobics instructor or any of the other professional roles we can train people to fill.
