Work with Children

One of our key aims at Discovery Learning is to help fight Childhood Obesity. In collaboration with our sister organisation, Weight Management Centre, we have set up a programme, Alive 'N' Kicking, which focuses on childhood obesity. Our aim is to get children more active and to educate families in healthy eating. You can now play your role in helping children to become more active and lead healthier lives.

At Discovery Learning, we have a variety of qualifications and courses which will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to work with children. We also ensure all our tutors work with children and have experience in changing children's lives and helping families to become fitter and healthier. They will be able to advise you on setting up your own business or give you useful contacts to find a job working with children.

We have a variety of blended learning (home study with attendance days) courses to meet your needs. This enables you to study while continuing to earn. You will be supported by a dedicated student support tutor, who will guide you through your distance learning to ensure you are prepared for the attendance weekends and assessments.
