 In today’s fitness industry a gym instructor doesn’t just do induction! They are required to programme for a large variety of people with specific goals. Therefore, the Discovery Learning Advanced Instructor course is designed for gym instructors to enable you to develop and advance your skills to plan and design advanced programmes for a broad range of clients.
The Advanced course content:
The Advanced Instructor Course will challenge you and add greatly to your fitness skills and knowledge.
Course Format:
The format of the Advanced Instructor blended learning course combines home learning with tutored attendance days. There will be 4-6 week home study followed by three days of attendance 2-3 hours of assessment.
Qualification:
Advanced Gym Instructor Course will give you level 3 status on REP’s (register of Exercise Professionals)
The advanced instructor course costs include:
- CYQ registrations and certification for Advanced Instructor Qualification
- 3 tutorial days from top industry experts and leading Personal Trainers
- Full tutor support for home learning component—both e-mail and telephone support
- All training manuals, workbooks and worksheets for each module and interactive DVD
- All CYQ assessment fees & Assessments.
- Full Certification upon successful completion of criteria
- 20 CPD credits on REP’s and full Level 3 Status
You must possess at least one level 2 fitness qualification or equivalent. Writing and numeracy skills are also required for presentation of course work. The minimum age is 16.
