What are your specialist areas?
Freestyle group exercise; ranging from traditional activities like aerobics, outdoor fitness and group indoor cycling to physical yoga and pilates.

What's your previous experience?
I completed my initial instructor training alongside my sports science degree in 2006 starting with exercise to music (aerobics instructor). My enthusiasm for instructing group exercise escalated very quickly as I enjoyed instructing so much. I trained in many different class disciplines enabling me to work full time as a group exercise instructor in Cardiff, as well as undertaking gym work. I have worked as a tutor for another company since 2010 before joining discovery learning in 2012. I teach across a range of courses including gym instructing, personal training, exercise to music and a range of CPD’s.

What do you like to do for fun?
I love spending as much time out on my bike as possible, enjoying the Welsh countryside whilst training for road races, time trials and triathlons. I also like to keep my group exercise skills fresh by covering classes and attending as a participant whenever I can.
