We chose to deliver our courses in their state of the art Birmingham venue as the equipment and size of the venue provides the perfect setting for our tutors to deliver our courses to the high standard that we expect.
Getting to the Venue
Free parking is available. The nearest train station is Olton which is 20 minutes away, alternatively learners can travel to Solihull train station which is a ten minute bus or cab journey; with the bus stop a 30 second walk from the gym.

- The gym is based within an industrial park where there are plenty of options to purchase food.
- There is a Subway and Morrison’s within a 5 minute drive.
- The gym provides a Lounge area and WIFI is available within the club

What you do at Discovery?
I am full time tutor at the Birmingham venue and may soon be taking over at the Warwickshire venue. I deliver Level 2 Fitness Instructor and Level3 Personal Trainer courses. I also teach all the CPDs single day courses – Spin, Kettlebells, Circuits, Sports Nutrition and Suspension training.

What's your previous experience?
I have working in a variety of fitness centres including, Everyone Active and Nuffield Health as well as smaller independent family run gyms. I have travelled all over the country providing health assessments and health seminars to hundreds of people working for a variety of companies.
What do you like to do for fun?
I am a big film fan and love watching a great action film, over and over again! I love tennis and play when I can and enjoy watching it, just as much. I enjoy cycling when the weather is nice and obviously my real passion is training in the gym.

Gym Instructor Courses
Our Level 2 Gym Instructor Courses are aimed at individuals looking to start out in the fitness industry and work in a gym environment.
This Level 3 Exercise Referral Diploma provides the key skills and knowledge required to establish you as an exercise referral practitioner and be able to train clients referred by health services. It is ideal for experienced personal trainers interested in working with special populations by administering both preventative and rehabilitative exercise therapies.
Mixed Martial Arts
Become an MMA for fitness instructor by completing this one day, intensive CPD course. The course covers basic MMA techniques that you can incorporate into your training sessions.
Spinning has been one of our most popular courses for years now. It is considered one of the “must have” CPD qualifications for personal trainers and equips you to teach a spinning class.
The suspension training course will teach you numerous upper-body, lower-body and core exercises performed using suspension training techniques.
Core Strength & Stability
Core training refers to exercises that specifically target the muscle groups located around the abdomen, spine, and pelvic areas. These are typically done to increase strength and flexibility throughout the body.
Kettlebell Instructor Course
The ultimate course for any individual serious about delivering high-level kettlebell sessions. Covers basic kettlebell moves, correct swing technique and how to deliver entire training drills.
